If your voice is not being picked up by Slack.

  1. Ensure your mic is not muted by the inline controls of your headset.
  2. That your mic is not muted by Windows -> Windows Sound Settings

If this hasn't resolved your issue please ensure that the correct input device is selected in Slack

1. To adjust your sound settings in slack click the 3 bars in the top left of the slack window.   Then go to File -> Preferences

Once there go to Audio & Video


Ensure that the correct output device has been selected under the Microphone dropdown.
